Swarming Decay :: Jonathan Uliel Saldanha
Swarming Decay :: JONATHAN ULIEL SALDANHA
part of " A Exposição Invisível" with Culturgest
26 Nov. - 14 Jan.
Carpintarias de São Lázaro is hosting a section of A Exposição Invisível, a sound installation by Portuguese artist Jonathan Uliel Saldanha.
Swarming Decay is a multi-channel audio installation. A swarm is formed from sound tracks of everyday life. Man made and mineral extraction objects are activated by animal properties, moving throughout the air, in the Carpintarias space, in predation games.
The group exhibition curated by Delfim Sardo takes place in the Culturgest galleries from September 25th to January 10th. If you visit the exhibition from November 26 onwards, your Culturgest tickets will give you access to Carpintarias and the other way around.
